About the Event
Welcome Back FFA is the first official
Citrus Hill FFA chapter meeting and member engagement event
of the school year.
Held in conjunction with Back to School Night, the event
provides students and their families an opportunity to visit the school farm,
meet chapter leaders and agriculture teachers, learn more about Citrus Hill FFA,
and discover ways to become actively involved in the agriculture program.
What Students Will Learn
• Upcoming FFA Activities
Learn about chapter events, meetings, conferences, community service,
and other opportunities planned throughout the school year.
• Leadership Opportunities
Discover ways to develop leadership skills and become more involved
within the chapter.
• FFA Competitions
Learn about Career Development Events, Leadership Development Events,
and other competitive opportunities available to members.
• SAE Involvement
Explore how Supervised Agricultural Experience projects connect
classroom learning with real-world agricultural skills and careers.
• Chapter Expectations & Participation
Review expectations for FFA members and learn how to earn participation
points and stay actively involved throughout the year.

Purpose of the Event
Welcome Back FFA is designed to
strengthen chapter involvement, increase family engagement,
build a sense of belonging within the agriculture program,
and encourage students to take an active role in FFA throughout the year.
By attending with their families, students can better understand the many
opportunities available through agricultural education and begin building
connections with their chapter, teachers, officers, and fellow members.
AET Participation Recording
Student attendance and participation will be verified and recorded
through the AET participation system. Students should
complete the designated participation check-in as directed at the event.
